Premier League Football 2012-13 is just around the corner. Yes and this time Champions of Europe will try to defend their title at UEFA Champions League and also for top flight finish at Premier League. The other cups including Club World Cup will be a bonus 🙂
Didier Drogba, Jose Bosingwa, and Salomon Kalou have left… Drogba’s void is what worries me most.. Someone has to fill in and adapt pretty soon as the season progresses.
I have high hopes with the new signings Oscar, Hazard and Marin.  Mata and Ramires have a great work-rate and with the new signings they won’t be that exhausted with the n number of games we have to play this season. Mikel, Romeu, Yossi & Essien will be the key midfield with Super Frank to streamline the transition from defense to attack. If Victor Moses deal is through, then Midfield will great. Ah, Raul Meireles & Malouda, just hoping that both gets back to their usual style of playing and then a cameo will benefit for sure.
Now the only major worry is that of Finishing.. Only if Torres finds a better form and the rush to net-in the crosses from midfield and starts playing as a True Forward / Striker! And yes, Sturridge, hopefully he can support as a backup and play UN-Selfishly. How I wish Andre Schurrle deal gets through. His versatility will definitely do wonders for sure.
I’m not sure about Lukaku, he needs more play time to develop, so a good loan deal with assured playtime is needed for him and us.
ChelseaFC have focused more on attack this transfer window. I really wish our issue for a backup Right back is settled soon.. be it Maicon, CĂ©sar Azpilicueta, Van der Wiel or Wallace … as a backup to Branna as he can’t hold fort for all the games.
For me: As a Chelsea fan, I’d love to see us win all the games the Club plays. Hoping Roberto Di Matteo will manage team well and let us defend the UEFA CL and a much better top 3 (read as Top 1) finish in EPL (Quality of EPL is improving by far – no one can deny that)
